To better serve the global auto industry EV trend in United States, we are now hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Extra Low Voltage (ELV), for a new mega-site manufacturing project in Michigan. We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in ELV systems to join our team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced ELV solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ELV systems within our projects. Also, this role will require excellent management skills, ability to work well under pressure, and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement ELV systems, including but not limited to fire alarm systems, security systems, access control, and communication networks.
- Conduct feasibility studies and assessments for ELV projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineering teams to integrate ELV solutions into overall project designs.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for ELV systems.
- Conduct site surveys to assess existing infrastructure and propose ELV system upgrades or improvements.
- Provide technical support during project execution, troubleshooting and resolving ELV system issues.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in ELV technologies to recommend and implement best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing ELV systems.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to ELV systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve complex problems.
